Must have products for 1st Trimester
First trimester has been the toughest trimester for each of my pregnancies. It can especially be tough for first time moms with all of the changes happening and not knowing what exactly is going on with your body. It leaves you questioning whether or not everything that is happening is “normal”. With all of this new uncertainty, these products are the tried and true ones that have helped get me through my first trimester during each of my pregnancies.
- Preggie pops– During each of my pregnancies, I experienced nausea during my first trimester. It wasn’t just in the morning, it was all day on/off nausea. I found that staying hydrated and keeping small snacks in my purse was helpful. But these preggie pops kicked the nausea better than any other product. They are delicious and taste just like candy.
- These maternity leggings are a must! With this being no matter if you are on your first pregnancy or if this is you last pregnancy, maternity leggings are such a comfortable go to option for the days when your feeling extra slow. These leggings are a perfect go-to option when your jeans or shorts aren’t fitting anymore and you feel super bloated after eating a meal. They are stretchy and easy to move around in making them perfectly comfortable as you grow throughout your pregnancy.
- I am loving these maternity panties. They are comfortable and not annoying in any way.
- These prenatals are so delicious and helped subside first trimester nausea. Of course I advise every person to talk to your doctor about the best prenatal vitamin for your body during pregnancy. I took these before getting pregnant and during the first trimester before our first doctor’s visit. They are gummies coated with a layer of sugar and are so good!
- This book is such a great thing to have on hand, especially for first time mommas. It gives in depth advice/details on what to expect during each trimester of your pregnancy. Here, they also have other versions of the book for your hubby, for the first year, etc.
- This weekly growth chart is perfect to keep on hand each week to track the growth of your belly throughout your pregnancy. It is super cute and easy to erase and re-do each week.
- As it starts to get harder and harder to sleep during your pregnancy having an eye mask on hand isn’t a bad idea to add a little extra comfort, especially if you’re lucky enough to get a nap during the day.
- This water jug is a must. If your anything like me, I have the hardest time remembering to drink enough water throughout the day. This pregnancy I have been reminded a few times that I need to drink more water throughout the day. Carrying this water jug around has helped me remember just because its so hard to lose track of. It keeps water cold and its great because you don’t have to continually fill it up all day long.
That’s all I’ve got for y’all right now. I will also be doing a blog post for second and third trimester too. If you are in the season of life experiencing all the ups and downs of pregnancy, just know you are not alone in all these changes and I hope you enjoy every moment of this special gift your body is taking you through.
